FishPay has proved to be an international success with IT firm Atempo.
Atempo are a software company specialising in the production of data protection software for a mixture of mid-sized to large companies. They are also experts in data recovery, storage and back-up and long-term archiving. Established in 1992, Atempo boasts European headquarters situated in Paris and US headquarters in California. The firm has subsidiaries across the globe, of which the UK and Ireland branch is one. In the UK, Atempo serves a mixture of public and private clients, some of whom include the Met Office, Cap Gemini and several public authorities, such as Glasgow County Council.
Richard Mathewson is the Vice President of the Northern European sector of Atempo. With the headquarters located in Paris, the relevant functional support departments such as finance, marketing and H.R. are also all based there. As there are no internal financial systems in the UK subsidiary, Richard finds it valuable to have a trusted partnership to which he can outsource everything related to the administration of payroll.
