The FishPay service from High Wycombe-based accountants, The Fish Partnership, has received a century-old seal of approval.  Insurance brokers J Bennett and Son (Insurance Brokers) Limited are celebrating their 100-year anniversary in 2008, and have been using the FishPay service for a year, allowing them to spend more time continuing to grow the business and service their clients’ needs.

The firm hase been employing the services of The Fish Partnership for 3 years, after they were highly recommended by another local insurance broker because of their specialist knowledge of Financial Services Authority ( FSA) requirements. The FishPay service was chosen when their previous payroll bureau was displaying a distinct lack of activity. 

Company Secretary Heather Barnard comments, “I don’t like the large company mentality.  There is hardly any personal service.  It’s nice to know that with FishPay I can always speak to someone who can help me”  FishPay put a lot of emphasis on personal service, according to Heather.  Their level of communication is high, with someone always available to pick up the phone or respond to an e-mail.  “They make me feel like a person rather than a number.”

The FishPay service has allowed the insurance brokers to completely outsource their payroll. All thirteen of J Bennett & Son’s employees are currently paid through the service, and there have never been any hiccups.  According to Heather the service is “efficient and it works.”

The Fish Partnership is also able to provide Heather with expert advice on completing her RMAR (Retail Mediation Activities Return) form, which she finds invaluable.  “They have always been there to give us advice and to reassure,” she says.
